Name: Negaigoto, Ayumi (Walking Dream)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Country: Honshu
Rank: Geisha
Personality:
Quiet but kind, it is almost impossible to even annoy Ayumi, but when it does happen, everyone will know. Ayumi is a peace-loving woman that resents all violence unless it is in self-defense or play.
People almost never know where Ayumi is until she addresses them, which will often make people like her for her soft-spoken, honest and submissive nature, though she is still assertive. Ayumi hides how she really feels beneath her mask of the quiet, happy geisha, though she is truly a complex person. Ayumi is a passionate soul and enjoys writing, reading, dancing and singing.
Ayumi is a great lover of animals and will often be seen interacting with them, especially her kitten Mujitsu.
Appearance: Ayumi has a near infinite amount of kimono, most of which she only sees once before her 'mother' puts the kimono away in the storehouse. These three, however, Ayumi has kept a tight hold on, as they are a few of her favorites.

Ayumi has emerald eyes and moonless-midnight black hair. She has pale skin, and no freckles.
Weapons: Ayumi holds a tessen and a gunsen for her own protection.
Family:
Hahaoya - 'Mother'
Shisuto - 'Older Sister'
Daifu - Danna
Birth Family: Unknown
Pet: Mujitsu - Kitten
History:
Born to a small village on the outskirts of Nara, Ayumi was sold to the Tomoshibi Okiya in order for her family to have that little bit of money to buy clothes; Ayumi was 3 years old. Growing up in the okiya was hard work, as Ayumi was the only child there that wasn't to be a geisha. Somehow, the emerald-eyed girl managed to do every bit of her chores, and still found time to watch the geisha of her okiya get ready for their nights out. This routine carried on for 10 years, and as time went on, Ayumi's responsibilities grew.
On the eve of her 13th birthday, Ayumi was seen following the most prominent of the geisha at her okiya and was suspected to be a pickpocket. Seeing that Ayumi was going to be arrested, the geisha - Shisuto - stepped in and proclaimed Ayumi to be her maiko, or little sister. From then on, Ayumi was a maiko, preparing herself to become what she dearly wished to be; a geisha. At the age of 16, Ayumi became a full-fledged geisha, though she is a bit stingy and won't give her mizuage to anyone that she doesn't like; at this point, there are still men bidding for her attention.
RP Sample: Ayumi turned slightly to the side and dipped, her fan barely brushing the ground before she spun and repeated the action on the other side. Opening her eyes slightly and slowly, Ayumi made sure to not even glance at the men and women watching her in awe. Lifting the two fans high above her head, Ayumi closed her eyes and brought the two down in front of her swiftly, snapping the fans closed as the final note of the koto sounded throughout the room. Ayumi waited in nervous silence for either the sounds of clapping or continued silence; clapping meant she had done the dance perfectly, but silence would mean she had made an error somewhere. Ayumi nearly sobbed in relief as the sounds of clapping and even small cheers and whistling was heard.
